The Full Story

Mendi Davis, Ed. D. has been in higher education for over a decade and is currently an Associate Professor. Her areas of expertise include leadership, research, teaching and learning, as well as, mentorship and writing. Her writing and academic scholarship has been published in several international and national journals.

Throughout her career in higher education, Dr. Davis has served in many roles including dissertation chair, academic quality reviewer, content expert, dissertation chair supervisor in addition to her role as a full time faculty member. She has served on many committees, served as a subject matter expert, evaluator, and mentor.

Her research spans a variety of areas within both leadership and psychology. Her early research focused on distrubuted leadership and its effect on school culture and teacher self-efficacy. Her research now focuses on mindfulness practices, perceived stress, and doctoral students. 

Dr. Davis' priority is to help others achieve their highest goals. As a dissertation chair, as well as, a faculty member she has consulted with hundreds of students - editing writing, aligning dissertations, analyzing data, mentoring students, and editing full dissertations. She has worked with students across a broad spectrum of disciplines including business, nursing, leadership, teaching and learning, higher education, and psychology.
